Cheekbone BotoxQ&A
- Q.What is the difference between lateral cheekbone Botox and contouring injections?
- Both treatments help the face look smaller. Contouring Injection breaks down excess fat so the body can eliminate it. Cheekbone Botox relaxes the muscles to soften an angular face.
- Q.Can my lateral cheekbones look more prominent after treatment?
- We do not recommend Cheekbone Botox if your muscles are small or the sides of your cheeks are already sunken. Reducing the muscle can make the area look more hollow and the lateral cheekbones more prominent, so the face looks uneven.

Cheekbone BotoxAftercare
- -You can wash your face and wear makeup 2 to 3 hours after treatment.
- -To prevent inflammation, avoid excessive drinking, smoking, saunas or jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouses), hot baths, and strenuous exercise for 3 to 7 days after treatment.
- -Avoid rubbing or irritating the treated area. Skip intense or deep facial massage for one month.
- -Avoid very chewy or hard foods after treatment. They can shorten how long the Botox lasts and cause discomfort.
- -You may feel soreness in the treated area afterward. This is temporary and nothing to worry about.
- -Like any injection, the treatment may cause bruising and swelling depending on your skin condition. These are usually mild and subside quickly.
