Jawline BotoxTreatment overview
A square jaw comes from either a protruding jawbone or well-developed masticatory (chewing) muscles that move the jaw. Jawline Botox works well when the jaw looks angular because of well-developed masseter muscles. The treatment is short and simple, with almost no disruption to daily life afterward.
Botox is injected into the enlarged masseter muscles to reduce their movement. With less use, the muscles shrink, and the lower face looks slimmer and softer.

Jawline BotoxQ&A
- Q.Can I return to my daily routine right after treatment?
- Swelling after treatment does not last long. You can cleanse and wear makeup after 2 to 3 hours. Avoid heavy drinking, smoking, saunas, and hard exercise for 3 to 7 days.
- Q.Is there a standard dose for Jawline Botox?
- The standard dose is 50 units (U). If the dose is too low for your muscle mass, a "candy cheek" effect may appear after treatment, where the jaw on one or both sides bulges like a piece of candy held in the cheek. Because muscle mass varies from person to person, we recommend coming in to have your muscles measured so you receive an appropriate dose.
- Q.How is it different from Contouring Injection?
- Both treatments make the face look smaller, but they work differently. Jawline Botox relaxes the jaw muscles to soften an angular face, while Contouring Injection breaks down excess fat to shape the face.
