Wrinkle BotoxTreatment overview
Wrinkle Botox is a treatment that softens facial wrinkles on the forehead, glabella (between the brows), bridge of the nose, around and under the eyes, and chin (cobblestone chin). It uses purified botulinum toxin to inhibit the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter, and relax the muscles.
This reduces the muscle movement that creates expression lines.
Effects by treatment area
- Forehead and glabella: softens horizontal forehead lines and frown lines between the brows.
- Around and under the eyes: softens the wrinkles that appear around and under the eyes when you smile.
- Bridge of the nose: reduces horizontal lines on the nose bridge and bunny lines.
- Cobblestone chin: smooths a bumpy, walnut-like chin surface.

Wrinkle BotoxQ&A
- Q.When will I see results?
- Results vary from person to person. The effect usually starts to appear gradually 2 to 3 days after treatment, and on average you can expect softer facial wrinkles and a smoother look within 1 to 2 weeks.
- Q.Do wrinkles get worse when Botox wears off?
- No. Wrinkles may look deeper as the effect fades, but this is simply the skin returning to its previous state. While the effect lasts, you use those facial muscles less, which can help prevent wrinkles from forming.
- Q.Does Botox work on deep wrinkles?
- If lines remain even when you stretch the skin with your fingers, or if the wrinkles are long-standing and set into the skin, Botox alone may not be enough. We recommend combining it with treatments such as filler, thread lifting or radiofrequency.
- Q.Why do my eyes feel too heavy after forehead or glabella Botox?
- Although rare, the medication can spread after forehead or glabella Botox. This may raise the eyebrow area or cause ptosis (a drooping eyelid). You may feel discomfort for 2 to 3 weeks, but it usually improves gradually after one month and returns to normal within 2 to 3 months. If the discomfort is significant, visit the clinic to see the doctor, who can take appropriate steps to speed up your recovery.
