PicoFractionalTreatment overview
PicoFractional uses a patented MLA fractional handpiece. It creates laser-induced optical breakdown (LIOB) inside the skin, delivering energy into the dermis to form microscopic bubbles. This helps calm inflammation and induces collagen and elastin production.
Its laser pulses last about 300 picoseconds (trillionths of a second), much shorter than nanosecond lasers. It precisely targets lesions while minimizing the risk of thermal damage to surrounding tissue, and it promotes collagen synthesis in the skin. This makes it effective for improving skin texture.

PicoFractionalQ&A
- Q.How long does treatment take, and what is the recovery time?
- Treatment takes about 10 minutes, not including anesthesia time. Afterward, your skin may look darker than usual, and redness and peeling may occur. Peeling usually finishes within a week, and the skin returns to normal as it recovers.
- Q.Which treatments pair well with PicoFractional?
- Aqua Peel before treatment helps clear blackheads and whiteheads and reduce pore size. After treatment, adding hydrating care, ampoule treatments, and LDM regeneration care can boost skin regeneration and help restore moisture to skin dried out by the laser.
