Mole & Wart Removal

Clear away the skin lesions that clutter your face!
  • Mole & Wart RemovalTreatment Information

Beauty Z Skin Clinic Myeongdong uses two types of lasers, the CO2 laser and the erbium laser, to remove moles, warts, milia, and various pigmented lesions. Both lasers destroy skin lesions. The CO2 laser operates at 10,600 nm and the erbium laser at 2,940 nm, and both are highly absorbed by water. The erbium laser has the advantage of a larger, adjustable beam size. The CO2 laser causes more thermal damage around the beam, but this heat stimulates collagen formation. It is mainly used for viral lesions such as warts. ※ For lesions 0.2 cm and larger, prices may vary by size.

  • Mole & Wart RemovalTreatment Results & Frequency

    • 01.
The depth and size of moles vary from person to person. If you are considering retreatment, we recommend waiting 1-3 months for the treated area to fully recover before the next procedure.
  • Mole & Wart RemovalQ&A

    • Q.
Can a single treatment completely remove the lesion?
    • If a lesion comes back after treatment, you may wonder whether the procedure was done incorrectly. However, mole removal works by scraping away the surface rather than removing the root. Even if a mole looks small on the surface, its root may gradually grow larger and deeper, and pigment can slowly rise from within, so complete removal in a single treatment is difficult. For viral lesions, recurrence often depends more on the patient's immune status than on how the lesion was removed, so the chance of recurrence remains high even with repeated treatment. Retreatment is possible, but we recommend waiting at least 1-3 months for the skin to fully recover first.
    • Q.
After the procedure, I developed red pigmentation at the treatment area.
    • Redness (erythema) and pigmentation usually appear after mole removal, but this is a natural part of recovery and gradually improves over time. During recovery, careful aftercare with sunscreen and regenerative cream is important.
  • Mole & Wart RemovalPrecautions

Please carefully check and follow the precautions.

    • -After the procedure, you can cleanse lightly and apply makeup with the regenerative tape on, but please keep the tape on for at least one week.
    • -Keep the regenerative tape on until drainage stops, and replace the tape when it becomes saturated with discharge or falls off on its own.
    • -Be sure to apply sunscreen when going outside. After removing the regenerative tape, applying regenerative cream regularly will help.
    • -Red marks after the procedure are not a side effect but a natural part of the recovery process and will gradually fade over 1-2 months.
    • -To prevent inflammation, avoid heavy drinking, smoking, sauna or jjimjilbang visits, hot baths, and strenuous exercise for 3-7 days after the procedure.
    • -Depending on the treated area, take the prescribed medication as directed for 3 days to prevent inflammation and reduce pain. If you have a history of antibiotic allergies or any other special condition, please let us know.
