  What is the difference between Botox and filler?
• Botox uses purified botulinum toxin to block the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter, which inhibits muscle contraction signals and temporarily limits muscle use. It can improve wrinkles, reduce muscle mass, and improve skin tone and elasticity. Filler uses hyaluronic acid, which is easily absorbed by the body, to fill indented or sunken areas and deep wrinkles that are difficult to improve with Botox, immediately improving wrinkles and volume.

  What is the difference between Korean-made and imported fillers? Which product is better?
• Both have the same composition and purpose. However, imported fillers have been used worldwide for longer than Korean-made products and have relatively better viscoelasticity. They also come in many varieties with different viscoelasticity depending on particle size, which allows more precise and natural results for each treatment area.

  Can filler be removed?
• Our clinic uses hyaluronic acid filler. If you want it removed after the procedure, it can be dissolved with a hyaluronidase injection, an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid. However, if a long time has passed and fibrosis has made the filler firm, it may be difficult to remove it completely in a single session. In that case, we recommend visiting the clinic and proceeding after a thorough consultation with our medical staff.

Please carefully check and follow the precautions.

• -You can wash your face and wear makeup 2-3 hours after the procedure. Please remove the Duoderm patch on the treated area 1-3 days after the procedure.
• -To prevent inflammation, please avoid excessive drinking, smoking, saunas or jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouses), hot baths, and strenuous exercise for 3-7 days after the procedure.
• -Depending on the treated area, please take the prescribed medication as directed for 3 days to prevent inflammation and reduce pain. If you have a history of antibiotic allergies or any other special conditions, please be sure to tell us.
• -If pain keeps getting worse even after taking the prescribed medication, or if you notice changes in skin color, blistering at the treatment site, itching, or a persistent feeling of heat, please contact the clinic and visit us.
• -After the procedure, the shape may change due to facial muscle movement and external pressure. For 2-3 weeks, please take care not to press on or irritate the treated area (for example, by wearing a hat, sleeping on your stomach or side, wearing glasses, or having ultrasound or radiofrequency procedures, facial meridian massage, or dental treatment).
• -With injection procedures, bruising, swelling, pain, or a foreign body sensation may occur depending on skin condition, but in most cases these improve within 1-2 weeks.
