- Q.Is it a safe procedure?
- PDO threads are made of a biocompatible material originally used for sutures in cardiac surgery. You can receive the procedure safely with PDO threads.
- Q.There are many types of threads and I'm not sure which one to choose.
- There are various types of thread lifting, depending on the thread shape, whether the thread has barbs, and the barb design. Because the recommended thread types differ by treatment area, we recommend reviewing the options carefully in a customized consultation and choosing the procedure that suits your area of concern.

Please carefully review and follow the precautions.
- -You can wash your face and wear makeup 2-3 hours after the procedure. We recommend keeping the Duoderm patch on the treated area until it heals.
- -To prevent inflammation and reduce pain, please take the prescribed medication as directed for 3 days. If you have a history of antibiotic allergies or other conditions, please let us know.
- -To reduce swelling and bruising quickly, we recommend applying a gentle cold compress to the treated area for 3 days.
- -To relieve swelling, sleep on your back for 3 days.
- -To prevent inflammation, please avoid excessive drinking, smoking, saunas or jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouses), hot baths, and strenuous exercise for 7 days after the procedure.
- -Bruising, swelling, pain, and a foreign body sensation may occur, but most of these subside within 1-2 weeks. However, if pain keeps getting worse after taking the prescribed medication, or if skin discoloration, itching, or a feeling of heat persists, please contact the clinic and visit us.
- -To prevent the threads from shifting or breaking, avoid opening your mouth wide for 4 weeks (avoid yawning widely or laughing loudly). If you had a double chin procedure, also avoid turning your head sharply.
- -Depending on your skin condition, a thread may occasionally protrude from the treated area. If this happens, please do not touch it, and visit the clinic for appropriate treatment. If you experience any other discomfort, please contact the clinic.
