- Q.Is it a safe procedure?
- PDO threads are made of biocompatible materials that were originally used as suture material in cardiac surgery. You can safely receive the procedure with PDO thread application.
- Q.There are many types of threads and I'm not sure which one to choose.
- Thread Lifting consists of various types depending on the thread shape, presence of barbs, and barb design. Since the recommended and applicable thread types vary depending on the treatment area, we recommend that you carefully consider the options through customized consultation and select an appropriate procedure suitable for your area of concern.

Please carefully review and follow the precautions.
- -Cleansing and makeup are possible 2-3 hours after the procedure. The Duoderm patch attached to the treatment area is recommended to remain in place until it heals.
- -To prevent inflammation and reduce pain, please consistently take prescribed medication for 3 days. If you have a history of allergies to antibiotics or other conditions, please inform us.
- -To rapidly reduce and minimize swelling and bruising, gentle cold compress to the treatment area is recommended for 3 days.
- -To relieve swelling, sleep in an upright position for 3 days.
- -For 7 days after the procedure, please avoid excessive alcohol consumption, smoking, sauna/jjimjilbang visits, hot baths, and strenuous exercise to prevent inflammation.
- -Bruising, swelling, pain, and foreign body sensation may occur, but most subside within 1-2 weeks. However, if pain progressively worsens after taking prescribed medication, or if skin discoloration, itching, or heat sensation persists, please contact the clinic and visit us.
- -To prevent thread migration and breakage, avoid opening your mouth widely for 4 weeks. (Avoid yawning widely or laughing loudly) Also, if you have undergone double chin procedure, avoid turning your head sharply.
- -In some cases, depending on your skin condition, threads may protrude from the treatment area. In such cases, please do not touch it and visit our clinic to receive appropriate treatment. If you experience any other inconveniences, please contact the clinic.
