- Q.Is daily life possible immediately after the procedure?
- Swelling does not last long after the procedure, and after about 1-2 hours, exercise/sauna/cleansing and makeup are possible, but it is best to avoid drinking and smoking for about a day.
- Q.Is there a set dosage for jaw Botox?
- 50 units (U) is the standard dosage. If the amount of Botox is insufficient compared to the muscle mass, a candy cheek phenomenon where the square jaw area on one or both sides protrudes like a lump of candy may appear after the procedure. Since the size of muscle mass varies from person to person, we recommend coming in to have your muscle mass measured and receiving treatment with an appropriate dosage.
- Q.What is the difference from contouring injection?
- While square jaw Botox relaxes muscles to soften an angular face caused by jaw muscles, contouring treatment is a procedure that breaks down unnecessary fat to form facial lines, sharing the commonality of making the face smaller, but they differ in that the underlying principles are different.

- -Cleansing and makeup are possible 2-3 hours after the procedure.
- -For 3-7 days after the procedure, it is recommended to avoid excessive drinking, smoking, sauna/jjimjilbang visits, hot water baths, and strenuous exercise to prevent inflammation.
- -Avoid rubbing or irritating the treated area harshly. (Please avoid vigorous massage or meridian therapy for one month.)
- -Very tough or hard foods after the procedure may shorten the duration of Botox effects and may cause discomfort, so it is best to avoid them if possible.
- -You may feel soreness in the treated area after the procedure, but this is a temporary phenomenon and there is no need to worry.
- -Injection procedures may result in bruising and swelling depending on skin condition, but these are minimal and will subside quickly.
