Cheekbone BotoxQ&A
- Q.What is the difference between lateral cheekbone Botox and contouring injections?
- Both procedures help make the face look smaller. Contouring injections break down unnecessary fat and eliminate it from the body, while lateral cheekbone Botox relaxes the muscles to soften an angular face.
- Q.Can the lateral cheekbones look more prominent after treatment?
- Lateral cheekbone Botox is not recommended for people with small muscles or sunken lateral cheeks. Reducing the muscle can make the area look more hollow and the lateral cheekbones more prominent, making the face look uneven.
Cheekbone BotoxPrecautions
Please carefully check and follow the precautions.
- -You can wash your face and wear makeup 2-3 hours after treatment.
- -To prevent inflammation, avoid excessive drinking, smoking, saunas or jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouses), hot baths, and strenuous exercise for 3-7 days after treatment.
- -Avoid rubbing or irritating the treated area. (Avoid intense massage or meridian massage for one month.)
- -After treatment, avoid very chewy or hard foods, as they can shorten how long the Botox lasts and cause discomfort.
- -After the procedure, you may feel soreness in the treated area, but this is temporary and there is no need to worry.
- -With injection procedures, bruising and swelling may occur depending on your skin condition, but they are minimal and will subside quickly.
