Jawline Botox
Reduce enlarged jaw muscles for a slimmer V-line!
Jawline BotoxTreatment Information
A square jaw is caused by a protruding jawbone or by well-developed masticatory (chewing) muscles that move the jaw.Jawline Botox can show great results when the jaw looks angular because of well-developed masseter muscles. The short, simple procedure and almost no disruption to daily life afterward are major advantages. Botox is injected into the enlarged masseter muscles to reduce their movement. With less use, the muscles shrink. As they become smaller, the face takes on a naturally slender, soft contour.Jawline BotoxRecommended For

Jawline BotoxTreatment Results & Frequency
-
01.
Starting 2 weeks after the procedure, muscle mass gradually begins to decrease, and a beautiful V-line can be expected after approximately 1-2 months on average.
-
02.
Results vary with muscle mass and daily habits, but the muscles gradually return to their original size over 6-8 months. To maintain results, we recommend re-treatment at 4-5 month intervals.

Jawline BotoxQ&A
- Q.Can I return to daily life right after the procedure?
- Swelling after the procedure does not last long. Exercise, sauna, cleansing, and makeup are possible after about 1-2 hours, but it is best to avoid drinking and smoking for about a day.
- Q.Is there a standard dose for Jawline Botox?
- The standard dose is 50 units (U). If the dose is too low for the muscle mass, a "candy cheek" effect may appear after the procedure, where the jaw area on one or both sides bulges like a piece of candy in the cheek. Because muscle mass varies from person to person, we recommend visiting to have your muscles measured and receiving an appropriate dose.
- Q.How is it different from Contouring Injection?
- Both treatments make the face look smaller, but they work differently. Jawline Botox relaxes the jaw muscles to soften an angular face, while Contouring Injection breaks down unnecessary fat to shape facial lines.
Jawline BotoxPrecautions
Please carefully check and follow the precautions.
- -Cleansing and makeup are possible 2-3 hours after the procedure.
- -For 3-7 days after the procedure, it is recommended to avoid excessive drinking, smoking, sauna/jjimjilbang visits, hot water baths, and strenuous exercise to prevent inflammation.
- -Avoid rubbing or irritating the treated area harshly. (Please avoid vigorous massage or meridian therapy for one month.)
- -Very tough or hard foods after the procedure may shorten the duration of Botox effects and may cause pain, so it is best to avoid them if possible.
- -You may feel soreness in the treated area after the procedure, but this is a temporary phenomenon and there is no need to worry.
- -Injection procedures may result in bruising and swelling depending on skin condition, but these are minimal and will subside quickly.
